Works extremely well on both my Galaxy Nexus and my Nexus 7 2013. A tablet interface would be nice but not necessary. The only qualm I have with it is how oddly things seem to be laid out. Lots of white space on the bottoms. Other than that, I love the Holo style of this app. Cards look great, as do the tile icons. If only there were an actual riichi app as good looking as this one…

Riichi Calc is an easy to use app that takes any valid Japanese mahjong hand and calculates all possible winning combinations. A great companion for any Japanese mahjong player! Feel free to e-mail me about any calculation errors.

    UI is a bit confusing (exposed vs concealed, winning tile) but once you get it, the app is very simple/useful.

    Would give 5*, but after playing some times, There is no rinshan after kita option, so its kinda hard to count

    It a great app and functions well. There’s definitely some quality of life things that could be adjusted such as being able to more conveniently mark the winning tile or at least i don’t know how to do it other than inputting it last. Also it would be nice to be able to remove ads.

    Very good provided you understand Japanese Mahjong well like I do, but have never mastered scoring. Would benefit from a “clear all tiles” button/function but not a major concern. Update have now given it 5 stars

    Simple and effective. Wish there was a way to remove ads (currently option says not available). Otherwise does what it says on the tin. Cheers!

    Works like a charm. Only 1 tiny comment: it appears you’ll have to set the settings to Japanese Romaji, NOT to English..for otherwise it will not let you enter pairs and cannot do the calculation for you.

    The app does not include the extra count of 2 fu when the player’s hand includes an honor tile as a pair.
