User Reviews for Bitwarden Authenticator APP
After looking at every authenticator I have found Bitwarden Authenticator to be the best, security is either by password or biometrics.Easy syncing between my phone tablet. I also use Bitwarden Password manager and feel confident that my login details ,along with my authenticator details are secure. I would recommend Bitwarden to everybody. If I could suggest an improvement I would suggest being able to rearange accounts into your preferred order, I think that is the only improvement needed.

pure magic. 2FA codes are synced with BitWarden app, if present on the device, and it’s so convinient very minor issue i have, is with the UI. the codes are kinda small. but overall amazing application!

Nice app but it has, no smartwatch support and it doesn’t stand out from the rest of the apps in this category. Update: Other things that this app could have: – more ways (file types) to import/export keys/codes; – search/categories for keys; – better privacy policy for personal data; – an option to backup locally the keys/codes or more cloud integration choices; – maybe some theming, icon support, colour customisation options, but these are purely subjective, just to stand out from the rest.

Great, easy to use app that I recommend you use alongside bitwarden password manager. It’s the only authenticator that I’ve seen that lets you access the key of the TOTP which is useful because you can store the key in bitwarden password manager
Awesome app although the OTP sync doesn’t work reliable. Edit:the first sync from bitwarden to the authenticator app works. Any OTPs added afterwards in bitwarden do not get synced
I use the bitwarden PW manager and trust the developers. Works well so far. I just wish the individual entries would have a bigger font.
Great 2FA app. Only thing I’d like to see added is the ability to rearrange codes and/or create groups instead of being stuck to alphabetical order
I’ve been using this for a month and I’ve had zero issues. 2024.6.2. I’ve added 2FA to multiple sites, imported some from Bitwarden, and exported/imported to another phone. Piece of cake. This makes a perfectly fine replacement for Authy, which I’ve been looking to get rid of for some time. They’ve had breaches, are proprietary, and don’t allow export. One needed feature: the app needs to auto lock after some selectable time, like Bitwarden. It should not sit open in Recents indefinitely.
Amazing!! Hands down 2 all you who worked on this and any other Bitwarden projects my hat is off 2 you all! I know how important your products are! Just please do not sell out, please. I have high hopes for ALL BITWARDEN APPS/SOFTWARE. It’s sad to say but we have needed these kinds of things for so long. The Govt is just always lying and we are in a digital cage so thank you for doing your part! It’s Grate!!!
The best password manager available. It is fully open source which is a huge plus. It works great on my Android phone and tablet and my Linux laptop and desktop. The Chrome and Firefox browser extensions work well too. I would highly recommend Bitwarden to anyone. I gladly pay $10/year for sync capability just to support development even though I could easily host it myself on my own server.
The app is missing a way to login with Bitwarden account. I thought the main point of the app is to make it easier to get the 2fa codes for the accounts in Bitwarden vault.
Good app… but still missing cloud sync on my bitwarden account.
As of Version 2024.6.0, they option to import from other apps but for some reason it’s not working. It gives toast saying import was successful but nothing appears.
Would be great if it could backup to my bitwarden account.
Finally an open-source 2FA app that will be able to sync online. Giving 4 stars until they add sync, then it’s an immediate 5 stars.

Old review gave 4 stars but is now obsolete. Sync with Bitwarden vault rocks. Would still like to be able to group or at least reorder, but those aren’t essential, just nice QOL. It does all it says on the tin and any new functionality from now on can be considered added bonus. Happy to bump from 4 initial stars to 5.
