User Reviews for Bitwarden Authenticator APP

After looking at every authenticator I have found Bitwarden Authenticator to be the best, security is either by password or biometrics.Easy syncing between my phone tablet. I also use Bitwarden Password manager and feel confident that my login details ,along with my authenticator details are secure. I would recommend Bitwarden to everybody. If I could suggest an improvement I would suggest being able to rearange accounts into your preferred order, I think that is the only improvement needed.

    Well, it’s Bitwarden. 10/10.

Functional authenticator, would appreciate a few layout options, larger code numbers for one. Reordering would also be nice.

Does what it should. Icons would be a nice addition, either automatically selected (AI supported maybe) based on the Name of the TOTP entry or for manual selection.

Lacking backups synced to bitwarden account, no ETA

Hello, Please give us the ability to rename and reorder the saved items in a custom way we need/want as well as let the list be sorted by alphabet because this is a random mess … Thanks for complying, Martin from Czechia

Great start. I like that you can lock access to the app. The ability to search will be useful when you have lots of accounts. Can’t wait until the next phase with account backup/synchronisation.

Doesn’t need to be more than this. Perfect simple authenticator app from Bitwarden do also makes the best password manager. Get both and be safe!

It is improving slowly and looking better. Now has Android backup support for local data, and ability to see TOTP codes from your Bitwarden Vaults. I have about 90 codes, so organizing and finding are my top usability asks.

Works alright and syncs well with Bitwarden. There are however a few caveats – I can’t change the order of my keys, they are in order you added them. I wish I could make them alphabetical. And also the icons don’t sync. I guess the app is quite new, so I hope those things will be fixed.

It’s a single device app (no cloud synch for multiple devices, like the password manager). It does not compare with Authy or Google, yet. Maybe a future update will be more appealing.

All are good except that the list is not sorted alphabetically on the Android version. The iOS version is much better. Please make sure the Android version works like the same as the iOS one.

Looks out and works seemlessly as compared to the browser add on version.

Easy Import and Export. UI is simple and not bloated with unnecessary features or elements. Supports Biometrics. Its a list of 2FA Codes and that’s all I need it for. 5 stars.

хотел подключить к сайту 2FA, но код, приходящий на приложение не подходит для проверки. Справедливости ради, почему-то все аутентификаторы в большинстве случаев у меня работают не корректно. Так что снижу бал из-за моей, возможно, ошибки

Looks good for a new product, but missing essential features. Primarily a backup feature. Also would like to see the ability to import from other Authenticator apps. Lastly would be nice to see the app lock on minimize. EDIT: Would also like to see encrypted local backups, this way data can be backed up with the android system backup as well as local backups for restoration without wiping the device.

Can you add the option to move the items in the list for better organisation and also to modify/remove icons in front of the name? Other than that is a very good app.

Icon packs would be nice to have or at least pulling website Favicons. Will keep using this side by side with Aegis Authenticator until this has all the features (especially Microsoft authenticator integration and passkeys would be cool!)

Needs Import features like Aegis 2FAS Auth this will bring it a bit more in line with those 2 apps straight away… As Authy has become highly useless after taking away even that ability from the Desktop App unless you use it’s own sync .. Don’t understand how Authy can try and monetise something that basically the core of the App

Amazing app! 1) integrate with bitwarden. 2) free sync! 3) all codes available on bitwarden manager

Not sure why they make this app, since there’s an option in password manager app to add authentication codes, which is premium. They could have just make THAT free instead of making a new separate app.
