User Reviews for Bitwarden Authenticator APP
After looking at every authenticator I have found Bitwarden Authenticator to be the best, security is either by password or biometrics.Easy syncing between my phone tablet. I also use Bitwarden Password manager and feel confident that my login details ,along with my authenticator details are secure. I would recommend Bitwarden to everybody. If I could suggest an improvement I would suggest being able to rearange accounts into your preferred order, I think that is the only improvement needed.

its an ok authenticator app, yes it works but still need to improve. Difficult to tell apart keys. * won’t allow arranging elements (move position. * does not recognise websites so you don’t get an icon. * does not allow custom icons. Worst: * Won’t sync with your account unless you have a subscription.
Seems decent enough when self hosted and paired with a locally hosted Bitwarden setup. My only wish is for there to be a way to organise codes in groups or folders etc. For example I’d like to group my work related codes together.
Seriously great. I’ve made the switch as the must have features that I love have been added. Really nice, fast and responsive. Would be great to have a “delete all items” option and an import option that avoids duplicate items.
Great app
Simple, clean, and syncing with my BW vault. Can’t ask for much more, but I just need logos and maybe the ability to rearrange my list and it’d be perfect.
Easy to use across all my devices and platforms.
Wish it had a sync option
please add backup with bitwarden account.
Pretty limited right now, but wonderfully designed. Still lacks importing in bulk and sync with Bitwarden vault.
Need more import options (plain-text URI for me, had to use Aegis to convert Ente Auth’s .txt export to Aegis plain .json first). Imports should automatically get their favicons. There are also still very limited features compared to Aegis and Ente’s Auth – like auto-minimize + lock when copied. I have high hopes, but this isn’t there yet. Will change IF and when it changes.
Seems the devs have taken the feedback on board, because this app looks great and setting it up took less than a minute.
Installed this l, but then found the developers decided it would not run on my backup S6 on Android 7 so I am reverting to Aegis, which does run on that. Bitwarden doesn’t appear to offer any advantage over Aegis. Indeed it’s lacking features compared to that.
As a subscriber to BW I was excited but there is no clue or multi device sync. I’ll come sack when it’s available
better than google authenticator and also with backups.
Really good app, made the switch from Authy. I really like it, though the lack of ability to order the entries in the list is a bit disappointing. Seems like such a basic feature, so hope it gets added at some point.
Decent for a standalone app. Still waiting on the promise of synchronization across devices.
Dear Bitwarden Team, Kudos on your achievements with the Authenticator app! I’d like to request two key features: Cloud Backups for TOTP Codes using our Bitwarden account and the ability to import Codes from Google Authenticator. These additions would greatly enhance security and user convenience. Thanks for your dedication to continuous improvement. I look forward to seeing these features in future updates and continuing to support Bitwarden as my go-to security solution…
clean interface, no sign in required, allows for easy exporting of codes.
I don’t understand why this needed to be released without it being ready. Recent update just allowed importing from other authenticators, which is great, but it’s still missing so many important features. You can’t reorder any of your entries. You can’t add any logos like you can in aegis. You can’t change the formatting of any of the items. For example, you’re unable to make the numbers any bigger for readability purposes. They should have been cooked much longer before it was released.
Installed this a couple of months ago but finally decided to move all my authenticator stuff to this app it defo still feels like its missing something but I hope it improves with more updates!
