I was looking for a app to help lower my screens brightness lower than what my phone’s brightness scale would go and this app definitely gets my screen brightness as low as I need it plus some and I love how this app don’t get super dark after you submit a percentage like this other app I tried once I hit start screen dimmer it was too dark to see anything on my phone and I had no idea how to get it so I could see my screen thanks night screen I really love being able to play my games without bothering anyone around me at night

Great app, I have the paid version that automatically starts at a certain time and it’s worth it. I would give it 5 stars if I could set it turn on/off at sunrise and sunset instead of just fixed times.
It’s a crutch. I find myself redownloading because the factory brightness on my phone doesnt go low enough to satisfy sometimes. The only gripe is when I forget to turn it off and I need to use my phone outdoors… 5 years later, I’m redownloading. Possibly the greatest app I’ve ever had the pleasure of using.
I use this every night in a dark room to watch YouTube to sleep. It’s perfect!

Update: The latest update solved the “no touch” issues I described before and I raised my rating to 3. I’ll go back to a 5 if you can fix the lock screen overlay, which used to dim the lock screen. 2/3/2022: I’ve been using this for years and it’s been great. Since the 12.0 Android update it no longer works properly. When the screen is dimmed, touch does not work. I’ll put this to a 5 when it’s fixed. I’m using another product that works, but I like less well.

Turn the brightness EXTREMELY low, so at night it’s barely visible to others, if at all, and doesn’t blind you like Jesus is calling you to heaven everytime you open your phone. The widget within the notification panel is the best imo, with a pause feature and you can control the brightness right there, without stopping whatever you’re doing.

I really like this one 🙂 I like how the app does not have to open either I get to click on the app icon and the setting to navigate the ammont of light I want is automatic and FAST just like the autimatic volume setting on the phone can pop open! Awesome and convenient! Especially when I don’t want to inturrupt a sleepy baby I’m trying to lay down 🙂
Three stars only because this app previously worked like a charm. After android 12 doesn’t allow to select anything. Now with extra dim as default in AOS makes little sense.. Edit 2022 July: Still not working on Samsung s tab 6 lite Edit2: fixed! great work!
Used it for years and the premium is absolutely worth it, I’m really happy to support the Devs who made this. The app works absolutely fine on the multiple different brands of phone I’ve had over the years and provides a great level of dimming and filtering. One slight grievance is the banner that is locked into the notification bar when it’s on but I use a notification blocker to remove it. A point to improve would be an additional slider for the strenght of the blue light filter.
Used this app for years through multiple phones and absolutely love it. However, today it started doing this thing where it wouldn’t let me use my screen properly (like downloading something on play store would tell me another app is blocking the screen and I also couldn’t switch between my emails because the screen was just stuck).
