I’m an A-type personality when it comes to my phone… because it’s MY phone! I went with Android because of its customizability. I’ve used several widget makers over the years. For a long time, my favorite was Zooper Widget… and then I found KWGT… which led me to KLWP! THIS is my favorite customizer, hands-down! So now, when I become bored with the layout, I can do so much more than simply change the wallpaper. With KLWP, I can change the interface! And with included support for Tasker, it seems the sky is the limit!

For a long time, this was a blank review. Words cannot describe how good this app is. I’ve even set up a guest profile so I can constantly play around with what’s possible here. Combined with T-UI, my tablet is treated like a wizard machine around the house. Thanks Kustom, you rock!
Its pretty nice app but put some feature where we can savechange in a locked preset without exporting it’s really good idea for both users and klwp designer what do you think dev?
is a litle bit confusing if you have no skills at programming, and even if so, the learning curve is not so easy, but once you get used to, the app has lots of advantages and maybe limitless customizarions.
Updated Review: KLWP shows potential as a powerful wallpaper design tool, but suffers from a steep learning curve and an unintuitive UI. Support is minimal within the app, pushing users toward external communities. Folder creation is disclosed, but easy to miss in setup. Despite the system working against me at times, I can see the value for persistent users willing to invest the time. A unique tool, just not friendly for beginners.
Love it! There are a few minor glitches and some features I’d like to see implemented, but nothing big enough for me to contact the dev team about in the 1-2 yrs I’ve had it. It’s definitely worth the cost to get the pro key. It IS somewhat time consuming, so if you’re looking for a quick and easy solution, this might not be for you. Chances are, though, that if you’re the type of person to want something like this, you’ll probably find it to be a fun new hobby. I constantly tweak things.
Don’t need mobile games. I spend any free time with Kustom apps. Sometimes I feel I’m spending too much time customizing… but then I imagine the time and effort that must’ve went into developing and maintaining these incredible apps, then I feel like I’m not spending so much time after all. Guess this is where I’m supposed to give suggestions to improve the app. Not easy… oh, an option to hide the red selection outline in the editor. It often blocks my view. Thanks for the awesome apps guys!
was unable to use the app
Love the app. Loved it in my Galaxy S25 Ultra, just wish it worked on my Note 7. Gave it 5 stars anyway.
Just one thing that keeps on happening, if I use seconds, it just doesn’t stay counting after while and I have to force close it everytime it happens. Yes I already disabled the battery opt’s parallel rendering. EDIT: Thanks for the response, but I think I found the issue, if I change color in “Wallpaper style” from Settings, that’ll freeze the wallpaper. One way to fix is to allow me to re-apply the wallpaper with a separate button.

Excellent app to customise home screen. Bug- Wallpaper refresh freezes if I open native wallpaper option on Nothing phone 1. If I open the native wallpaper settings even once, there’s no more wallpaper refresh. Wallpaper freezes to that particular time. Time doesn’t changes in the wallpaper and appears as if I have taken a screenshot of my home screen and set that screenshot as my wallpaper. Works again only after I restart my device. Also lock screen doesn’t shows the attributes. Please fix.
Even tho it takes a little time effort, + some basic intelligence, this app is by far the best for customizing a home screen. The live wallpaper literally has endless possibilities. Once I got the hang of it, my imagination for what could be done has never stopped. Using a personalized live wallpaper is fun helps organization/efficiency. My advice: Stick w/ it!Persistence pays off. Ask questions if you get stuck. Use resources. There’re multiple ways 2 reach a desired result. Troubleshoot!!!
Pretty good except that the wallpapers constantly disappear and I have to go back. Then the wallpaper occasionally refers to the original preset after I made my changes
The app provides various customization like functions or animations. But the only thing that strucked me is the limited animation bezier ease which limited to only Normal, Straight, Overshoot, Bounce, etc. The developers could implement **custom bezier curve or ease in the app like what Figma has. Edit: **I meant to be “cubic-bezier” ease option. It’s like path but for animation.
I will always love the kustom suite and its team. It also brings back the nostalgia of theming my myspace page lol
The interface is lacking in user friendly options such as drag and drop positioning and there aren’t many presets to work with. Don’t get me wrong; this is a fascinating and powerful tool that I’m enjoying quite a bit, but I don’t think the free version warrants a higher rating right now. Would have been four stars but I started getting ads in the work area which squish the viewing area for the wallpapers to the point I have to squint. Find a better place to put the ads!

I LOVE Kustom KLWP to make fun animated wallpapers. KWGT is helpful to keep desktop organized and fun!
This used to be always in use on my phones, it’s so good but after upgrading my phone to Android 11 it’s becomes virtually unusable. It can take anywhere between 3 – 7 secs from touching and icon/image before it responds and opens that app. EDIT, Thanks for the reply Dev, I already use Nova launcher and I was part of the Beta group, also the app always autoupdates so no idea why it show I’m using an old version. Once it wasn’t working I removed myself from beta testing and reverted to stable.
