User Reviews for Color picker APP

Unfortunately no option to discard # for Code button, you must do several steps via history instead. If you give camera permission the camera will start every app launch and every image switch even if you mostly don’t want to use camera. Have to close image to go to settings. Very convenient controls when dragging, zooming and picking color. If you use camera you have nice controls such as exposure lock and setting focus modes. Active development – high chance of upcoming features and tuning.

Works great but I wish you could generate a palette from a image

As a creative artist. I am astound at the data base of colours that have already bern logged into wikipedia. Common colors are not completed yet. There is room for a universe of colors to be catagorized onto the inventory of colors into the data base. Will only need 1 to carry the flame forward.

Unable to get into app: if I exercise my choice of cookies (none), it takes me back to the page explaining that I have a choice 🤷‍♂️. So unless I grant access to rapacious cookies, I can’t even test the app to see if I want to pay for ad-free. This is either careless coding or deliberate. Either way they haven’t gained another customer…

Overall I like the app but I don’t consider myself as having any experience in this area. I bought some watercolor stuff and hope to use the app to help me learn about mixing paint

Working well so far. Would be really nice to be able to zoom in a bit more than currently able to in the app to identify colour. Would be nice to be able to add colours to a user defined palette with user lables.

It’s an okay app not 100% accurate though. Well I guess nothing in life is.

Thank you so much. I forgot khakhi color to tell my kid. In fact I was confused if it was light brown etc Thank you so much this amazing app tells the colour name in camera preview without captuing a photo while all other apps requires you to capture a picture and waste storage size. Too cool. Kudos for a wonderful app. A must have app for all kids and parents.

Really nice app, but on my surface duo, the camera image is flipped vertically.. Too confusing to use.

Quite great and useful, yet being able to move around and sort colors would be a nice addition

Don’t tell me that you can’t change the camera view to rear view. Please tell me I’m being an idiot and this app actually does have the option to switch to the rear camera

Amazing app to get an objective name and parameters for those colors you see in videos, photographs, and across the Internet. However, I think it could be a whole lot better if implemented as a floating widget with S-Pen support. Imagine just pulling out your S-Pen, selecting this app from the Air Commands menu that automatically pops-up, and just placing the tip of your S-Pen on ANY part of the currently displayed image/paused video to get the color name identified. That’ll be so awesome!

Love the app, but it doesn’t seem to read exif data so the orientation of some of my imported pics is wrong. It’d be nice if I could rotate images within the app to correct that issue.

I’m color blind and this is something I can use to determine the colors of things. one thing I wish it could do is for it to show what primary or secondary color it is closest to because it’s still difficult to tell for some things, like arsenic is apparently a shade of blue but it doesn’t look blue enough for me to tell. otherwise, it’s exceptional.
