Unfortunately no option to discard # for Code button, you must do several steps via history instead. If you give camera permission the camera will start every app launch and every image switch even if you mostly don’t want to use camera. Have to close image to go to settings. Very convenient controls when dragging, zooming and picking color. If you use camera you have nice controls such as exposure lock and setting focus modes. Active development – high chance of upcoming features and tuning.

I am colour-blind and I do a lot of photography. I see colour but can’t say what the colour IS ! So, who else could write a book on colour, specifically colour-blindness, than a colour-blindness afflicted person? This is my world, and I am using images in my gallery to show what I can and cannot see, and the confusion with similar shades of the same and/or completely different colours. This app has proved invaluable in determining colours in my images so that I can categorise correctly.
App works extremely well, better than I’d anticipated!! Holy cow! I used the app to get hex codes from colors I needed on the screen of my phone (through screenshots) but the camera function seems to work wonderfully, at least as well as it can utilizing a phone’s camera. Turn up the quality settings then dial it back (towards performance) if you run into issues. Highly recommend this app, wow.

Incredibly useful. Simple and functional colour selection from images on phone, on camera and elsewhere. Highly recommended Using my Lenovo Yoga Tab 3 Plus the camera used to figure green. With the new option seeing to a lower 4:3 resolution this is now resolved. Excellent support and updates.
A straightforward but really useful and time-saving tool for artists and designers.

I like this. As a painter it’s great to isolate colours. It’s quick and easy. Are there more saving options? I want to be able to create groups of colours and reload them later-on…loading 10 colours or so doesn’t seem possible.
Focus is not working
Works great for me. Capture the color from an image or ‘live’ from your camera. Tap to copy the HTML code to the clipboard, and you’re good to go. Do the developer a solid and pay one-time for the no-ads version.
Cool
very useful and handy app for color detection right around you. the most convenient available on the market, in my experience. I also calibrated my displays using this app by measuring the colored rectangles shown by the display – not absolutely accurate, but acceptable. very good for artists and designers. con: ads banner are not very conveniently located, and I occasionally accidentally touched it, and disabling of ads is a little expensive, it seems to me.
****** 6 Stars ****** I am color ‘blind”, a bad phrase. I see colors, just have a hard time with certain colors. I see red from green at a traffic light just fine. I have been looking for an app like this, glad I found it. The only thing I would like to see added, is the hex values. Thank you Mikhail for developing this app, very much appreciated.
I really like to app, but it doesn’t seem to catch true colors. It’s always just off a little bit from natural.I don’t know if it’s the camera settings or if it’s the application, but I really do like this app
