Coin Snap is the perfect app if your a beginner collector or a master collector. But for beginners sake.. You’ll use a phone camera to scan coins on both sides. It pulls up info like the dates, values, errors, even the type of metals that make up the coin scanned. The app has over 40,000 coins to browse and a wishlist feature for coins you find that you might want. The app has a Collections feature allowing you to add your coins to a well organized simple to view list for all the coins you own!!

    Very smooth app, performs well on my Motorola phone. Cache accumulates quickly but has never been an issue. I paid for premium. Grading performs with surprising consistency. I reshot about 300 coins with only two changes. The “identifier” program works well but does not pick up on “copy” or “counterfeit” markings. Watch what you’re doing. You can load inventory from either program, so you choose between precision in grade or identity. Worth using for the inventory reports alone.

    constantly have to change the year and the mint marks. Miss AI isn’t doing a very good job.

    not bad! I wish guys could think up a way to notify users of coins’ details when they don’t checkout while scanning.

    The description made it seem as though the payment would be monthly at 2.99 per month. Instead I was charged $44 all at once at the end of my free trial. Maybe I misunderstood but it felt like a dirty trick. Fortunately, they refunded me but I could have done without the stress. Also, when it is unable to identify a coin, the app instead makes wild guesses which is pretty confusing. Why is there is no feature to tell you that it just can’t find it? I tested this with an arcade token.

    I love this app its easy to use and it offers so much info about each coin u take and actually stores them in a collection for you, the only problem that I’ve had was the price of the app. I wouldn’t mind to pay if it would help sell or buy coins. But great app for information about all types of coins, paper money,etc.

    This is a pretty good app. It is amazing how it will scan and recognize coins. I like the Inventory Feature in the Paid Version. I will probably reinstall and subscribe later this winter when I have time to scan all my buckets of coins. What I would like to see is better documentation on pricing and a way in the app to offer a coin or a group of coins to a market of other collectors. And also a way to solicit certain coins for your own collection. But I was very impressed with the interface.

    It’s OK I feel you would be better off using a good camera and a book than using this app some regular quarters are worth over a dollar for some reason not sure why no defects or mis stamps. Scanned like 80 coins from like 15 countries and got vastly different results from previous checks and appraisals I think they are using Ai to check the coins.

    I like it but you need to add a way to move a coin from the all section to the custom section without rescuing them all in
