For someone like myself who is tech savvy; it was very easy to setup. Simple and to the point. Works flawlessly once it’s setup. I really want to ask the developer a question. So watching an ad once a week to use the pro version is very generous and I hope it is paying off. I see there is a one time charge for the pro version as well. Does it pay you more if I just watch an ad? Considering it is only once a week. I am more than happy to do that. I wish more apps were this simple. The best.

I was hoping for it to work because all these all apps don’t let me play any online games on my ps4 or anything else and I was hoping for this one to work but it kept saying failed and my phone is a moto g power
Got the pro version. Works as it should. I jump in car, phone connects to car Bluetooth, WiFi hotspot activates and connects to android system. When I leave the car it turns off hotspot! Allowed me to replace the data SIM in the android unit so not paying twice for data! Thank you. Great to see an app that actually provides a solution to people’s problems!

Excellent app. Every time I get in my car, the hotspot is started and the phone’s data connection is used without any trouble by both my stereo and my TomTom. Follow the instructions correctly and it works, flawlessly, every single time. The ability to test the Pro version – and to extend the trial by watching a simple ad – is a truly excellent way to ensure that people are happy before purchase. And they WILL purchase it as they will know it is safe to do so. Well done to all concerned…
This solution doesn’t work with Android 15. Probably helpful for people with older phones with up to 13 per description. 4 stars for effort since nothing else works at all.

Works perfectly! Every time I get in car it connects via Bluetooth activates the phones mobile hotspot! The people that say it doesn’t work don’t realise that you don’t just simply download it expect it to do everything for you! You need to go into settings find your cars Bluetooth device, click it, then allow it to connect by Bluetooth tethering!
After Google disabled programmatic control of wifi hotspot (ugh), workarounds were very poor. This is the only option that has worked flawlessly since then, and trust me I’ve looked! I want my hotspot to enable as soon as my phone connects to my cars head unit via Bluetooth. I don’t always need it so don’t always remember to enable before hitting the road, but when I want navi and music streaming, I’d have to do multiple manual steps while driving (thanks Google…)

Does exactly what it claims. Turns hotspot on and off when connected and then disconnected from a selected Bluetooth device. Easy to set up as well.
It just works. No fuss. edit: google pixel updated itself to Android 16. app stopped working until I followed the simple instructions to control it via accessibility and all is good again.
Been using this app with my Android automotive head unit which doesn’t have a SIM card. Works perfectly connects every time and provides internet to head unit either over BT or wifi. Just set it to do both. Like the new hotspot on/off facility. Later maybe hide the toggle for that in a settings tab? Or else don’t ask, who would want that onscreen in case things go wrong. Great addition though.
UI could stand to be a bit clearer but it works well
Works Great…Turns hotspot on when designated bluetooth connects and then turns off when disconnects. Has worked very reliably.
