For someone like myself who is tech savvy; it was very easy to setup. Simple and to the point. Works flawlessly once it’s setup. I really want to ask the developer a question. So watching an ad once a week to use the pro version is very generous and I hope it is paying off. I see there is a one time charge for the pro version as well. Does it pay you more if I just watch an ad? Considering it is only once a week. I am more than happy to do that. I wish more apps were this simple. The best.

    Works great with my android radio I installed in a 22 year old pickup. Now I have all the features, the newer vehicles have, ie, Bluetooth phone, GPS, rear backup camera. This app ties it all together, love it. Hw

    I’m using this to stop and start the Hotspot when bluetooth connects to my Hyundai car. This is useful for a number of reasons, such as providing data services for the car satnav. I used to use Hotspot Starter, but Android 11 broke that app. AutoHot Spot works for me on a range of Samsung smartphones and works on Andoid 13 without issue. Reccomend.

    Absolutely nails it. I’ve tried a few other apps that are supposed to help with hotspots and most of them just add a shortcut to your home screen. This runs as a service and actually works! Detects every time I get in the car and turns my hotspot on. Perfect!

    Used to work great. Now I have taken the latest android on my pixel 9, it just reports it can’t switch on the hotspot. The manual option was a work round that fixed my issues. Now I’ve updated android again it doesn’t work and I can’t find the manual work round any more.

    The app has a problem after updating the s25 ultra to UI8.0. It is not able to turn on WiFi if screen is locked

    does what it says on the tin, great little app to automatically start my hotspot when I get in the car so the car can connect to my phones wifi. Set it and forget it

    perfect UPDATE S24 ULTRA ANDROID 16 ONE UI 8.0 From 5 stars to 1. After updating my s24 ultra to latest software and android 16. App no longer works no matter the settings. App states Hotspot control failed. In some devices, hotspot control may not work. Granting accessibility permission allows controlling the hotspot in a different way. Click on the notification to proceed with the setup. NO RESPONSE FROM DEVELOPERS AFTER EMAILING THEM.
