Until we hear a comment from Google about the notorious freezing of Webview on Android 10 devices, even just an acknowledgement that the issue exists and it’s being looked into, this gets 1 star from me. Frequent freezing on my OnePlus (about once every 5 minutes, I get 2 on average during a 10 minute video) makes this completely unusable. Hopefully this 1 star review will help to raise awareness of the issue and drives Google to comment on it. Until it is fixed I am forced to use Firefox only.

Lastest update broken it. Had to change to other one, but it works fine when it’s working. Gmail doesnt load mail and Amazon crashes. Took me a day to figure out why stuff wasn’t working.

No longer working after updating to OneUI 6.0 Android 14 on my Samsung Galaxy A54. It says “disabled for user” for no apparent reason… Please fix and show why it has been disabled itself, greyed-out and how to enable it back, since as for now, it does not let me to re-enable it back…
Very good web view actually the best in the world. It made my device faster than the default. Many people insult this by saying this bad but actually it is super good and people cannot replace it by the default one and just simply download it and give bad reviews but this is the best thing to make your device faster. I am only 13 years old but still changing my software to my limit and have a lot of interest in this and if you are not downloading this then you are making a huge loss.

Downloading doesn’t do nothing. You need to manually enable this to actually switch over it. So, if you gave this a bad review without enabling it first, then I’m guessing you haven’t witness greatness at its peak. But if you’ve read this first, give this a thumbs up to help somebody out by making things easier for them. EDIT: I don’t understand why I need to be updating this every day? Like, is there something wrong here?

outstanding. this is a billion times better than the official Webview. not only never had a problem but Messenger lite (fb) stopped crashing. the net works better. quicker. and the phone seem more snappy even though this app is related to internet and browsing it seems to offload the CPU better which helps stabilize it and free cycles. why the official Webview is slower and unstable i have no idea. can’t complain but it shouldnt be that way. official software should be faster and stable. 🧑⚖️
Consistently breaks Amazon and a few other applications but mainly Amazon.
Content is getting better. Just remember to keep it simple and I favor fact over fiction.
Why always update everyday?
CORRECT
It works great but the app store has an update and it keeps failing, same for chrome canary. It still runs I just can’t update in the play store for some reason. I updated in the past so IDK why it won’t let me, will change to 5 stars when fixed 🤘. -UPDATE- I changed my defaults back to the phone original and uninstalled both Canary apps tried reinstalling and now I can’t even download either of them. I have no idea why but I’ll give 5* if fixed because it used to work great.
