The match includes six playable countries: the Ukrainian People's Republic, Crimean Democratic Republic, Poland, Anarchists, Austria-Hungary, and the German Empire. Each country has its unique set of units with special characteristics such as attack power, health, price, and the number of moves on the map per turn, making the match more diverse and interesting.
There are six missions in the match that participants must complete. These missions include playing for Austria-Hungary to hold out against the Russian troops, defending the newly created Ukrainian and Crimean People's Republics from Bolshevik attacks, attacking the Bolsheviks after the Treaty of Brest-Litovsk, fighting among the Army of the Ukrainian People's Republic, Anarchists, Bolsheviks, and Imperialists, enlisting Poland's support to liberate Ukraine from the Bolsheviks, and leading the November raid into Ukraine's territory.
The match's map is a permanent playing pitch that represents the territory of Ukraine at that time, divided into 28 territories, with eight of them being empty and 20 having strategic objects. These strategic objects include villages, churches, and plants, which offer different advantages to participants. Villages are where participants can buy new units while units on territories with a church can recover two health markers per turn. Plants bring participants two rubles per turn, and large cities, which are areas with a factory, a church, and a house at the same time, combine all the properties of previous buildings, making them the most crucial strategic object in the match.
