This app offers a classic 2048 number puzzle match that includes two variations: 2048 Classic and 2048 Merge. Both matchs provide a fun and challenging experience to all proficiency levels. The objective is to achieve the highest tally possible in both variations.
There are no in-match currency features or undo buttons, so you must rely on your own proficiency to beat your personal best tallys in 2048. To play 2048 Classic, simply swipe the screen in the direction you want the tiles to move. When two tiles with the same number collide, they merge to create a higher number tile.
To play 2048 Merge, you'll see a single tile below the match board, which is the next tile available for placement. You can place the tile by tapping the column where you want it to be placed. All tiles will automatically move to the top of the match board, and if they have a matching tile on any side, they will merge.

Added the ability for the game to save current progress in 2048 Classic and 2048 Merge where the player completely closes the application.
Increased the sensitivity of the swipe controls for 2048 Classic.
Bug Fixes:
2048 Merge - If the application was quit prior to the merge completing 2 tiles with the same number were left next to each other.
2048 Merge - Reduced the upper limit on when higher tile numbers will be generated in 2048 merge.
