The match includes several elements, such as the fairy tale book, Peruselings, a troll, straw island, houses, and collectible cards. The fairy tale book starts empty but fills up as the child progresses through the match. Peruselings are cute bugs that eat alphabet letters, and the child controls them. Poio, the main character of the match, catches the Peruselings and needs their help to read the book he stole from them. Children will spell out the words they collect at each level to read the book.
The straw island has four levels, and the objective of each level is to eat as many vowels as possible and find a new word for the book. To unlock the cages where the Peruseings are trapped, children are given phonic tasks to practice letter sounds and spelling. Every Peruseing rescued rewards children with the opportunity to enter a special "house," where they can use the gold coins collected to furnish and decorate it while playing with the subjects and verbs of everyday objects. The collectible cards encourage children to practice more and find new things and also serve as a playful instruction menu for the elements in the match.
