Feed The Monster is a free educational match designed to help children learn to read in Azerbaijani. Developed by literacy nonprofits Curious Studying, CET, and Apps Factory, the match incorporates proven 'play to learn' techniques to engage kids and promote reading proficiencys. It features phonics puzzles, letter tracing matchs, vocabulary memory matchs, challenging "sound only" levels, and collectable, evolvable monsters. The match is based on years of research and experience into the science of literacy and is designed to encourage empathy, perseverance, and socio-emotional development for children. There are no in-app purchases, no ads, and no internet connection required. The match was originally funded by the Norwegian Ministry of Foreign Affairs as part of the EduApp4Syria competition and was adapted to English by Curious Studying. The squad is dedicated to giving children everywhere access to effective literacy education in their native language based on evidence and data.
