"Dreamscape", developed by Shoelace Studying, is an interactive literacy match suitable for students in grades 3-8. This match is an engaging mix of imaginative reading passages and tactics-based matchplay, similar to popular base-building matchs. The participants are transported into a dream world where they must protect their "dwell" (the place where their dreams are created and reside) from "reveries" (dream creatures). To gather resources and create backlines for their dwell, the participants must read passages and answer comprehension questions. The ultimate aim of the match is to upgrade their dwell to higher levels, design their own reveries, and earn shards to climb up the leaderboard, competing against other participants.
