With two different routes to choose from, you can travel from Tokyo to Hakata and Morioka while trying to accumulate as much power as possible by touching and holding the Shinkansen. When you release the train, it will depart at a velocity proportional to the power you've accumulated. If you successfully arrive at the next stop, you'll earn markers, but if you fall, you'll be defeated a life.
To make things even more interesting, the Shinkansen may turn over and stop upside down, but it will behave the same way as usual, adding an extra contest to the match. You can also cancel charging by moving the position of the train while touching it, and if you make a mistake, you can press the "BACK" button to return to the previous state and try again.
