The new version of the match, released in September 2021, features a stronger "Backgammon" AI with two match engines, seven difficulty levels (including two new, stronger levels), full match play with Performubling Cube and Crawford rule options, four boards and piece sets, and both single participant and local two participant options. The match is designed for both tablet and phone use and includes hint and stats features, as well as the option to use either a random dice generator or manual dice input.
The match is supported by 3rd party ads, which may incur data charges, and requires permission to access photos, media, and files to save match data and cache ads. Players can also access the "CPU Strategy" page and use the manual dice option to prove to themselves that the match does not cheat.
