"Harry Potter: Wizards Unite" is an upcoming AR match co-developed by Niantic, Inc. and WB Games San Francisco. As a new recruit of the Statute of Secrecy Task Force, participants will work with others to solve the mystery of The Calamity and keep magic safe from Muggle eyes. The match uses real-world locations to reveal Traces of magic that indicate the location of Foundables, which trigger 3D encounters in full 360-degree advanced AR. Players can squad up and strategize with others to overcome bigger magical feats in real-time cooperative multiparticipant battles. The match is part of Portkey Games, which is dedicated to creating new Wizarding World mobile and video match experiences inspired by J.K. Rowling’s original stories.
