Tribit Stormbox Micro (1st Gen) lacks a EQ and app support compared to it’s upgraded Brother Tribit Stormbox Micro 2. While I love the fact that this tiny speaker has as much power that it does at 9watts with a good frequency range playing down to 70hz which is outstanding for a speaker this size, . Moral of the story it lacks app support and app support and a EQ would make this speaker a 10/10 also a 3rd Gen with let’s say 15-25watts playing down to 50hz would be epic Tribit if you’re listenin

Good EQ app for their products

Pretty decent app to control your tribit device. Even has a full eq. I give it 4 stars because I’m not sure how effective the eq actually is. Maybe it’s me, but I can’t tell much of a difference in sound when messing with the eq. Otherwise, this app works well.

Overall, the app is very good and helpful, especially for equalizer presets and lighting on my Tribit Stormbox Blast 2. However, the location permission doesn’t work on Android tablets (e.g., Xiaomi Pad 5), which is frustrating for users like me who use tablets for karaoke with the Blast 2. Without location access, I can’t perform scan devices and connect the Blast 2 to the Tribit app. Tablets work better for karaoke, so please fix this issue and add support for Android tablets/pads. Thanks! 🫶
The working good all time but it should be more polished like nothing app 😁 , The Equalizer in app is top notch, persnoly i love xbass mode and this for developer the app is look like a chinese app do some effort and make app more asthetic, i hope you work on it

good as i thought
I really want to love it, but I can’t find a way to keep my equalizer on all my devices. I had 3 phones with tribit app on all of them, but I must set my custom EQ on each of its app and it really frustrating since I have several EQs. Please let us have the ability to keep our EQ across devices or at least make the way to export/import it easier.
Quite often, you have to sign back in. Sometimes, there’s a delay; example, once I start using it, then It Kicks me out asking to sign back in! why??? Also sometimes the EQ is non-responsive. the sliders move but no effect is initiated.
Bought the X Sound Go recently. Good experience till now. Nice app. Can add more equalizers though. Otherwise it’s decent.
please tell.. whether storm box pro supports Aptx codec or not..
Great app. It really enhances the usability of the Tibit Stormbox Blast. I would give it 5 stars easily if the app gave us the ability to choose just one or two favorite colors to display with the LEDs.
App is “fine” in every sense of the word. It lets you set the EQ. The auto off/hibernate options don’t appear to function at least if the speaker is plugged in. I really miss the ability to turn off the speaker from my phone like I could with my old UE Boom. Saves needing to walk across the room.
Edit – After I got a new phone the app seems to work just fine, unfortunately on my old phone I could not get past the initial app screen, it would just infinitely load. The app would not work on a friend’s apple phone either. I am pleased I found a device it works on, the main feature I needed was to prevent auto shutdown and the app had that in it, so I can’t ask for more. Would like to see the developer support a wider range of devices though.
App is broken after the latest update. Just loads infinitely on startup. Workaround: If you manually allow the “music and audio” android permission for the app, it boots without issue. Still an unacceptable oversight. At least the app lets you use it without an account, which I appreciate.
