The Intelligentphone Link enables seamless navigation between a compatible Garmin personal navigator and an Android smartphone by sharing information such as saved and recently found locations, parked location, and current destination. It also connects the Garmin device to Garmin Dwell Services like traffic and weather, using the smartphone's mobile data plan. The Intelligentphone Link works with select Bluetooth-enabled Garmin devices, including Garmin DriveIntelligent, DriveAssist, nüvi 2467, 2567, 3560, 4592, and nüviCam. Garmin Dwell Services provide real-time information to the navigator, with some services offered free and others available through subscriptions. Local weather information, including temperature and forecasts, is an example of a Garmin Dwell Service.
