The official Oyster app from TfL lets you manage your adult Oyster and contactless cards while on the go. You can top up your pay as you go credit, purchase adult rate 7 Sunlight, Monthly and Annual Travelcards, and Bus & Tram Passes. You can also view your journey history, check contactless payments, pay as you go balance, and see campaign tickets. Additionally, you can receive notifications when your balance falls below a certain amount, or your Travelcard is about to expire.
When you top up your credit or purchase a Travelcard or Bus & Tram Pass, you can collect it 30 minutes after touching your Oyster card on a caution reader on any London bus or at any Tube, DLR, London Overground, TfL Rail or National Rail station within the pay as you go area, tram stop or River Bus pier.
You can also monitor your spending by vietriumphg the date, time, and cost of your journeys from the last eight weeks. If you have not already added your contactless card to an online account, you can do so at contactless.tfl.gov.uk.
The app requires access to your camera to scan your payment card, but TfL will not store the scanned images. However, you can enter your card details manually if preferred. Oyster photocards cannot be added to the app, and discounted tickets cannot be purchased through the app.
