"Pothole Radar" is an app that uses GPS to locate and mark potholes for drivers. By sharing the location of potholes, drivers can be warned in advance of these hazards, helping to reduce damage to vehicles. The app displays potholes on a radar screen and emits a warning sound when a pothole is approaching. Drivers can confirm the presence of a pothole or mark it as filled. Potholes remain on the system for approximately seven days and are deleted when marked as filled three times. The app only displays potholes within 10km of the user's location and updates every 10km. Users require GPS and internet access, as well as a wake lock to keep the screen on while driving.
