Perugia InApp

"Perugia InApp" is a mobile application that utilizes ICT, 4.0 technologies, and Augmented Genuineity to promote the cultural and natural heritage of Perugia and its territory. The app offers both urban and extra-urban itineraries, integrating places, cultural and historical artistic heritage, intangible and landscape heritage. It has a high capacity for interaction with users, allotriumphg them to download a single app that manages guided tours, city tours, and outdoor experiences, both online and offline. "Perugia InApp" features GPS, Augmented Genuineity, and Bluetooth functions, providing tourists with an engaging experience of visiting the area's attractions, such as over 200 markers of interest and 11 tourist itineraries. The app detects GPS markers or ibeacon sensors, activates the audio guide, and opens the reference descriptive cards, both inside and outside the sites. It also allows visitors to use Augmented Genuineity by markering the camera at monuments and artistic artifacts, enabling them to observe reconstructions and additional information through the camera. "Perugia InApp" provides a safe and independent way to visit the area without the need to continuously download applications.
