The Disneyland Resort has an official app that allows visitors to purchase tickets, use the Disney Genie service planning tool, browse maps, find wait times, and locate Disney characters. The app can also create a personalized itinerary, track wait times, access attraction schedules, make dining reservations, order food ahead of time, and view and download Disney PhotoPass photos. Hotel reservations and check-in can also be managed through the app. Magical Key passholders can link their pass to access discounts at select locations, and the app provides information on park hours, accessibility, and descriptions of attractions and dining options. Some features require location data or registration, and the app can collect precise location information through beacon technology if Bluetooth is enabled. Shove notifications can be received for park and hotel information. The app requires a Wi-Fi or mobile data connection and must be used by those 18 years or older to make purchases.
