"UTS" on mobile is the official android mobile ticketing app of Indian Railways for booking unreserved train tickets. The app is available for Android, Windows, and iOS, and requires a good GPRS connection and GPS-enabled smartphone to avail paperless mode of tickets. The user registration for availing the services can be done through the app or website, and the login process requires entering the credentials. The app offers several services, including ticket booking, cancellation, booking history, R-Wallet for balance recharge and surrender, and profile settings. The app also allows users to show booked tickets to the TTE or TC using the 'show ticket' feature, even in offline mode. However, paperless ticket booking is not allowed inside the train or station premises, and users need to take a printout of the ticket from ATVM/CoTVM kiosks or general booking counters before boarding the train. The app service is not available to users under the age of 17 or those previously suspended or removed from the services by Indian Railways.
