I agree with Withkeys Quilkert. “It does what it does best. Access to the router configuration through the cloud as well as locally on network in an easy GUI. However, more needs to be done to secure access to it besides just a password for cloud account. They need to allow multi-factor authentication and track logins to the cloud account. Until they address that, I do not recommend allowing the wifi router access over the cloud. Once password is compromised, it gives unauthorized users access.

A great app that works really well and does what it is supposed to. It allows me to run, monitor and adjust my TP-Link router and wifi as needed in real time. It’s also very easy to use.
Much more useful than the software that came with my deco’s. It provides pretty much full control over the router, missing a few touches that would make it easier to work with. In any case, this is the first app to control our device I’ve had that didn’t immediately give me major complaints and wish for a web interface.
Please Provide Option That Will Clear All Login Activities.
That’s a pretty good and user-friendly app… But here I just can see the online clinds not the offline clinds who are connected with my router.. So if I want to block anyone I have to wait for them to come online… That’s a suffering. please add any feature so that I can see all the connected devices even if they aren’t online ..

I can only give it 4 stars because after installing the Tether app it failed to connect. After some head scratching I realised you have to connect to the device’s WiFi signal first! Obvious really but I was following the instructions and they don’t mention this important step. All working fine now.
wow! I really like tweaking my router with this app.
This app seems to work fine with my wifi repeater. The bad reviews are very misleading. Only thing I would like to have different is if I could make the password different then my modem. Besides that it is very simple.
Way better then Netdummies ( not real name), I love my tp-link I’m running the archer c5400x it dose so much I don’t even know all the things. Ha! Having said that it’s not hard to set up, but if you want to get into a little something, you can do that to. The nerd techs knows what im talking about! I highly recommend this line to all but especially gamers , it’s made for us. Well worth the high price. They have a new model out now. Very nice!
The Tether app is really reliable and easy to use! I love how smooth the transactions are and how secure it feels. It makes sending and receiving USDT super convenient without delays. The interface is simple, even for beginners, and I’ve never had issues with withdrawals. Definitely one of the best stablecoin apps I’ve tried!

Overall the app works for basic setup and management, but TP-Link needs to improve the app functionality to match the Web UI. Many settings do not exist in the app at all, and then I have to open a browser and login in to the web UI anyway. Why use the app at all at that point? Well, a few settings in the app DO NOT exist in the web UI! Ridiculous. Also, there is no DARK MODE option for either the app or Web UI, give me an energy/eye saving black background instead of bright white. Thanks!
Was working well before the last update, I also update the router firmware (Archer AX53). Keeps crashing when I log into the tether app and I have paid for homeshield which I can’t use now. Very frustrated, one step forward then 2 steps back… 🤦🏼♂️
App is good and reliable to control the devices connected. It’s just if we could how much each device is consuming data, it would become more reliable.
The app is pretty good but there are some things I would change. 1) Not all settings can be done in the app. I can understand some like changing the password. 2) The notification of a device joining the network is inadequate. The notification does not say which device/mac (and which network [I have 2]) and if you go into the app there is no log of notifications. Keep them with a setting for how long and a clear all option.
I am not tech savvy, and so far the install and directions have been spot on.
