The AR Ruler app utilizes augmented reality technology to measure rooms, homes, and houses using your phone's camera. You simply target the detected plane and use the AR tape measure tool. With this new technology, you can scan your room and create a floor plan. The app allows you to measure linear sizes in various units, distance from your device's camera to a fixed marker, angles on 3D planes, perimeter and area of a house, size of 3D objects, and length of photo paths. Additionally, the app includes a room planner and home design feature that generates a room plan projection and exports it to a PDF file. You can also measure small objects using the on-screen ruler app and use the photo measurement app. The app requires the ARCore library by Travelogle, which constantly improves the quality of the room scanner and photo measurements.
