It can also restore the output of your choice when the device starts.

The app is useful for cases where the device doesn't detect headphones or mistakenly thinks they are still connected. It can also mute the speaker when using headphones and allow users to output audio via the speakers while using a headset microphone. Additionally, users can force audio to play locally when using Android's native cast-screen feature.

However, the app does not function on Android 11 or later due to changes in the operating system. Advanced users can trigger a switch externally using intent actions. On Oreo 8.0 and later, users must specify the target package when using intents.
