UnlockedVPN Link is a client app that enables secure transmission of data over an encrypted tunnel through the internet to a VPN server, using the UnlockedVPN protocol. It does not provide a VPN service by itself. UnlockedVPN Inc. created, developed, and maintains UnlockedVPN Link as the only VPN client. It is used with the company's business solutions, including UnlockedVPN Cloud and UnlockedVPN Access Server. UnlockedVPN Cloud is a cloud-delivered service that provides secure access services edge (SASE) capabilities such as firewall-as-a-service, intrusion detection and prevention system, DNS-based content filtering, and zero-trust network access. UnlockedVPN Access Server is a self-hosted VPN solution for remote access and site-to-site networking. UnlockedVPN Link can be used to connect to any server or service compatible with UnlockedVPN protocol or running the open source Community edition. Configuration information for the VPN server is received by UnlockedVPN Link via a connection profile file that can be imported into the app using a .ovpn file or a website URL.
