User Reviews for Sponge APP

I’m going to a concert, and I realized I had over 2,000 photos and videos. I tried another app to help me delete photos, but I had to watch an ad every 10 swipes. This app is like a miracle. I now only have around 900 photos and videos, and it only took me 2 days to delete all those photos. I’m giving it 4 stars because they should at least have it where you can delete a certain amount of videos for free. I can’t find an app that’s like this for videos, and unfortunately,I have to pay for it here

I have had this for a while, and thought to write a review after seeing a few updates on the app. The interface is one I ultimately liked such as the “file info” on the details of the photo (which appears at the top). It is essentially designed like a dating app of choosing which photos to keep/which to discard. What got me to buy the premium was more that I could sort through by albums, though it works well even without! I recommend this for anyone like me who needs to declutter many images.

Seem to have an issue on a galaxy s24 doesn’t seem to be deleting them from the gallery, the total number of images remains the same- is there any known issues?

i had downloaded it a while back, in the beginning it was working fine .. deleting all the selected photos from my device but after a while it suddenly doesn’t delete it… it shows that i have selected the photos and the process has been completed but the photos stay in my device… i dont know why this issue is happening i would be glad if i got some assistance because i really liked the app when it was working for me

An incredibly succinct way to clean up photos!! This app functions perfectly and has a super clean and easy UI. Completely worth the $5 bucks to get the pro version so you can go folder-by-folder instead of date, but it’s still totally usable on the free version too. Thanks for making such a helpful app!

Exactly what I was looking for. Really well done, too. Thanks for developing this app!

good and time saving! the only downside is that all my photos are already backed up to my one drive, and once they are there, the app cannot delete them itself :/

I love the app, especially now that video is also available in the app. However when moving lots of pictures to different albums you have to swipe all individual pictures. I’d love an “accept entire album” kind of button

easy to use with a nice interface. just wish the option tab to review Random photos were bigger, and if you’re already on premium that the “premium” tag is removed so it looks cleaner. otherwise, best one I’ve used of this genre. i especially appreciate that it is privacy focused.

This game is a bit of a money pit. There are other games like it, such as Dragonscapes, which are far less energy-intensive. You can play for about a minute before you run out of energy, and the few in-game options to get energy are also exhausted quickly, so its pay or nothing. Also, the quest lines require operating buildings but greatly restrict the amount of workers you can have, which means unless you pay for extras, you can’t move the story along. You can play for a few minutes each day.

Its a good concept but I was only able make changes to things within a month of being downloaded for taken. They do allow you to browse albums you’ve created but only for premium. I get needing to make profit, but $5 a month it’s a bit much for how much this app actually offers. Im willing to pay at mist $2 a month. If these developers have other apps that have profit being made, perhaps this app can be entirely supported by those apps? Overall it’s NOT a bad app and I do not hate it!! It works!

works exactly as intended, only complaint is that video cleaning is a paid feature. otherwise best cleaning app for lengthy collections, good job

I have reviewed over 900 photos. Cleaned out just over 700MB and still have 2,200 photos in my gallery. Standard version won’t let you go back very far. Pretty sure I just went through a year, but never saw a video. Premium is $3.50 for lifetime access and can clean your entire gallery for a one time payment. It’s an amazing price for just a useful tool. I recommend getting this app. Unfortunately it doesn’t remove the photos and videos from backup or cloud.

Good idea making an app to make the process of cleaning yr phone s pics fun. However, i found a bit too stingy that you require to get the premium version in order to erase first the heaviest pictures, or to erase videos. That lead me to think that in all honesty we just need to buy a memory card to solve the problem , and we won’t need to delete any picture. Also, not many options at all apart from the Tinder-style swipe to erase pictures. Hope it ll get better as there is potential in it

Simple and useful application. but only photo deleting option, not video deleting.

I genuinely didn’t think this was gonna be that great, but I have deleted over 4,000 images from my gallery (way more duplicates than I even knew I had). My phone works smoother, my storage is way better, and I am actually able to find pictures I’m looking for now. I cannot recommend this enough!! (Zero adds, completely usable even without buying any “premium” service, can use with or without WiFi, super organized, and saves your progress.)

Very nice concept! However it does not find all the pictures on my phone. It would be nice if I could set the search folders.

I’ve already deleted so many pictures and i love the random feature (i instantlybought premium, i love that it’s not a subscription)! i’d like to have an overview on how many pictures i have deleted in total and how much storage i’ve saved in total. Maybe also something where one could set a goal (i wanna go through 5000 pictures). If these are already in the app then maybe make it easier to find them.

The only app that does this and doesn’t have some stupid subscription model just a 1 time fee for some extra features if you want

You get very little energy for all the work! if you want to get anywhere in the game, you’ll need to spend money! after the first couple levels that go quick, it slows down so much that you’ll get about 1 minute of play and then your energy is gone! To get rid of tiny little plants it will cost more energy than you can save in an hour! it gets very boring! If the energy would last longer or do a little more, it would be a great game. Nice graphics got it the 2nd star.
