SO FAR I like this sound meter, however I have to run it next to my Amprobe SM-20(ANALOG) and my Fluke-945 (DIGITAL) to check its authenticity as relevant to reliability! In regards to ADS in the app, any ad is disruptive but these are really not in anyones way, but yes there are ads! What I REALLY DON’T LIKE in this tool is icons that lead me into other apps (compass, vibration meter) that I REALLY DON’T want added in my sound meter app!! BUT, I do like having this sound meter tool in my phone, that way as a professional audio engineer and drummer I always have a sound meter with me!!!😁

    Pretty good so far. Ads are not too bad and it seems to work well. I do wish it was able to rotate for use on a tablet.

    The app is great. However, it lacks some basic features as below: It would be great to have background logging. The app could save measured sound levels with timestamps as a text file as long as the meter is running. An option to automatically start logging on launch, plus a simple log explorer to view past recordings, would be perfect.

    Does a decent job. The chart graph is useful. It is limited by the precision of the small microphone inside the smartphone though. It goes down to only 20 dB. Useful for getting an idea of how loud traffic or subway is. Useful for checking noise in car at highway speed or in plane with seat near wing turbine. Ok for trying to diagnose what is the noisy cooler inside PC. Overall OK and useful.

    I like it very much. I used it to set up my surround sound in my living room. It really helped to set all the speakers at the same level. How it’s going to try to buy a meter and I saw this one and it seems to work really well. I would give it five stars

    Always have wanted a pocket decimeter. This one works just fine except the scale needs to go up to 150 db to totaly please this old science teacher.
