User Reviews for Screen Orientation Control APP
Just installed and it seems to work, although I haven’t tried it with lots of apps. It allows you to select 5 controls (from a selection of eleven) to have in a control bar (also available on a widget). Of course, I would like to have 6: one for each orientation, one for full sensor mode and one to follow device default orientation. Alternatively, the portrait and reverse portrait functions could be combined into a single toggle portrait control and the same for the two landscape functions, allowing me my 6 functions in 4 buttons. The 5 other options available in the app are ‘sensor port'[rait] (i.e. will switch automatically between just the two portrait orientations), ‘sensor land'[scape], ‘lie left’, ‘lie right’ and ‘headstand’. I think the last three are to control orientation when the phone is lying flat. If you think the control bar looks ugly, you can adjust background and icon colour for both the active control and the inactive controls. This affects both the in-app control bar and the widget. There are ads but, as far as I can see, they are only in-app and once it is configured, the widget should suffice. I would like options for the app to activate automatically when headphones or charger are plugged in, as that is when I am most likely to want the reverse portrait mode. Also, as my homescreen does not do well in landscape, an option to leave the homescreen alone might be useful. If these are implemented, if I get my 6th function on the bar and if the app remains stable, then it would get 5 stars from me.

hastle free. no ads..
decent, but it will cut off all of my app in landscape mode that aren’t on my top row
I really love this app. The only problem is that it has some ads on the screen and there’s no way to purchase and free. I emailed the developer but haven’t received the a reply. What does remove ads for $.99or $1.99 or something like that like other utility apps to do. A small fee to remove ads listen to big deal for somebody who enjoys your app and wants to support you. If this was presents in the app I would give it definitely a five stars.
Normally 5 stars but not today, this morning this has stopped working, although it works as a previous version on my old tablet?! I have uninstalled and reinstalled and restarted my tablet, any ideas anyone??
Very nice and good working this app for screen Rotedtion Android users
Suggestions:- 1. Add quick tile to turn on/off service, so there will be no need to open app everytime to toggle service. 2. Add option to select apps that will open in landscape mode always even if unspecified is selected and service is on. Other apps will open normally. Thank You!!! 👍👍👍👍👍
Great app, but wish it could be enabled/disabled automatically when the phone is folded or unfolded. Alternatively, if there was a way to stop/start it via macrodroid or something similar.
I am using android 11 and the orientation program v 7.0 does not work.. it worked well before the latest update.. please advise.. Version 6.4 on android 10 works very well.
Almost working good but here Theirs certain things dat I’ve been experienced, so These … Some sensors not working When using it for a while Always cancel it self, Nominal Their staff need to be sorted Again
This app does exactly what I need it to do without a fuss. I use my tablet when it is charging, and that means turning it upside down. Some apps simply refuse to pay attention to orientation, and this app forces them to do what you need them to do. I am very happy with it.
Quite good app, but it’s in serious need of custom quick settings buttons and maybe app shortcuts. As this app overrides system’s rotation settings, you can’t rely anymore on Android’s stock auto-rotate quick setting to lock/unlock rotation, and I don’t want a big instrusive notification when I only need a single toggle button…
