Aaaaaaaaaaaah finally!!!!!!!! Found one without a billion popups or ads at all! Just the app itself is an ad for Trend Micro, but it’s a great app. So brilliant ad guys and thank you! Only downside I’ve noticed is that i couldn’t seem to copy a weblink after scanning the qr code for it, but you get 5 stars from me anyway! It’s a minor niggle and the app saves the weblink and whether it’s safe or not. So thank you again! Was doing my head in all those awful ad spam ones, saved by trend micro! XXX

Love this App. after going through several so called Top Rated Apps I found this one and it is so simple with no advertising. One note is i wish the camera would focus a little quicker. Not sure if that is something they could fix or not… I have a Galaxy note 9 so the camera should be good. Overall, it is exactly what I was looking for in a QR scanner. Plus I get the added benefit of having Trend doing a security check for me.

2nd time download app, 1st time the app unable to scan code even after point at it for 1 min. Now, can scan code quite fast except when code too small, need more time to focus.

no more than adds it’s good use 😉 am really recommend I never updated or any extra installation for this app 6 year before installing not even using now open also no problem it’s too good guys 😄

Simple, honest and safe. I just needed a good and reliable reader. This one required minimal phone permissions, and has a built in malicious site checker. Perfect for my daily use. Best of all, no ads and payment required. Think of it as responsible community service from the parent Internet security firm.
Update: No longer scans barcodes on either of my Samsung phones. I loved this app but it appears they removed it’s ability to read regular barcodes. Just tested Kaspersky and it does both. Thanks for the good times Trend, but it’s time to part ways. Old review:Use it to scan serial number bar codes for IT equipment we have to activate so it’s accurate and a simple copy paste. Eliminates human error typos.

After loading, trying, and uninstalling about 6 so called “QR Scanner” apps that changed my home screen layouts and baited me with false “look up results” it is great to find a familiar name with a “does only what it’s supposed to” app. Thank You TREND MICRO!!

its very good and working absolutely perfectly with others i was unable to scan airline ticket barcode but this scans and does the woek perfectly
looking for a scanner that detects micro qr codes. this ain’t it.
Very useful for testing QR codes, nice app, most AV’s don’t touch this area.
Nice and simple to use (until you want to check in and the Rate Me splash appears 🙂 so go rate it when you download). It’s the best go-to app for reading QRs.

I really like it however there is a but. This software does not grant me the ability to create a qr-code. That is a real bummer.
