Aaaaaaaaaaaah finally!!!!!!!! Found one without a billion popups or ads at all! Just the app itself is an ad for Trend Micro, but it’s a great app. So brilliant ad guys and thank you! Only downside I’ve noticed is that i couldn’t seem to copy a weblink after scanning the qr code for it, but you get 5 stars from me anyway! It’s a minor niggle and the app saves the weblink and whether it’s safe or not. So thank you again! Was doing my head in all those awful ad spam ones, saved by trend micro! XXX

Great Security Tool. QR Scanner for checking malicious QR codes
does it job mostly.
I’ve been using this little application for many years and it has never failed me. It always allows me to see the URL before I decide to browse to it or not and choose which program I am going to browse to it with. Absolutely invaluable, 5/5 stars.
Love it no ads .let’s you zoom in if code not close to you and warns if website safe
Great app, with no ads! Love the ability to scan QR codes from images in the Gallery! Would be even more awesome if it could also support “sharing” images to this app!
I like that this will warn you about questionable sites.
Very good but 1 problem – while selecting a QR code from Gallery, the app doesn’t reflect all the folders. It reflects only three folders and leaves the one where I have kept a scanned QR code copy. Any bug?
Easy to use but seem to have a problem deleting certain check in.. Must delete everything which is a bit ridiculous since we stored some fav places.
Overall a good app except the ‘long’ time needed when opening up the app. Could tweak that to a shorter time considering this app is not that big.
Not bad, useful but kind of laggy and heavy on system resources.
No ads, reliable operation, recognizable name brand, predictable and understandable U.I., no surprises. Wish it had a landscape mode, but I understand why not.
Overall a good app. It would be nice if there was a way to automatically scan another QR code without having to click that I want to scan another QR code.
Good though kept reloading or reverting to size the menu was originally loaded when I expanded it to read. The menu was too small for my glasses assisted eyes.
Works beautifully so far. Permissions intrusive-always a worry. Free and no ads is great and your efforts are much appreciated. Will upgrade after trial period. Cheers!

Just flippin brilliant! At last, the only QR AND barcode reader app I’ve found that works simply by just pointing your phone. No need to manually tap the screen to scan or focus, it just does it nearly instantly and then patiently waits for you to launch whichever browser you have installed on your phone to find the item you’ve just scanned. And NO stupid disruptive ads! Happy Happy Happy! 🤓
Fast, and so far reliable. In fact I spent the first five minutes finding things to scan it was that quick. Blazing fast recognition on everything except one barcode on a reflective curved surface. It still managed it, just took a little fiddling. That was an ezception. I have tried dozens of apps for this and so far this is a stand out for recognition speed and it is free without ad support.

Every QR comes up unverified. If it just opened to the site and input my check in details like so many other ad free apps do it’d be 5 stars
