User Reviews for RaspController APP
I really like this app and it is definitely close to a 5 star app already. However, It doesn’t seem to support the new libcamera package which, according to the raspberry pi folks, has replaced the raspi-cam suit of tools. I would really love to see this supported. Additionally, it would be really great if we could create a custom “landing page” per raspberry pi… ie, a single button and camera output, or a custom command, camera output, and a gpio etc. It would simply use existing functions already contained in the app. Despite all of this I still paid for a lifetime license to support the creators of this great app. Hopefully I can raise this review up to 5 stars as soon as I can use my camera thru it again.

I like to ssh control my devices via a standard ssh program. This app allows ssh control of many functions on a pi (and other linux devices) However the WOL takes this to a new level if you have any devices you want remote access for. if this was its only function it would get 5* – now I can activate my home devices by using a pi as a WOL server and contacting it through tailscale, so no open ports.
This is easily the handiest app I have. I have multiple Pis running in my house, and can control any one of them from my phone. I don’t have to terminal in, I don’t have to switch inputs on my monitors or television, just pull up the app, and I can access multiple pieces of information on any one of my Pis, send commands, or power down or reboot the units. The ads are unobtrusive, and rare. For the price, it’s absolutely worth the upgrade to support the app and the programmer.
This saved me a ton of time editing files. This app is a godsend over using nano/vim to edit files in a terminal. The only thing I’d like would be a way to add favorite places or keep current folder when leaving file manager to get back to ssh and back. But other than that amazing app and well worth the pro key just to support the developer.
I really appreciate the tools that are included in this app. They definitely make information easily accessible and allow easy control of my Pi, all wrapped up in a nice interface. Well done. In future releases I would love to see the app temporarily disable predictive text and autocorrect features when using the ssh terminal as it is nice to have these features enabled when switching between other apps, but can be troublesome at the command line.
It worked best when following instructions.
RaspController is incredible. Everything I could want for Raspberry Pi control via Android. Too many features to list (see screenshots)! Plus: Dark mode. Well worthy of support (remove ads, $3 year, $20 lifetime). Thank you! Highly recommended.
I use this app everyday to control all my pi devices!
