This app is fantastic. I like to be able to pop in and check on my print without having to go to the Octoprint panel in a browser. There are a couple of things that I’d love to see, and I’ll start working on hacking the Google Play Store to allow me to leave a 6 star review if you can put them in: 1. I’d love to see an equivalent to the GCode tab in the app so I can look at the print layer by layer and maybe even follow in real-time. 2. I’d love to be able to pinch to zoom on the camera feed.

OctoApp is build with Android in mind and is completely optimized for being used on your phone. Of course OctoApp also supports Wear OS!

The app supports OctoPrint, Klipper (Moonraker, Fluidd, Mainsail), Bambu Lab and Elegoo Centauri.

The UI is structured into three workspaces: Connect, Prepare, Print. The Connect workspace helps you get your printer connected to OctoPrint and as soon as a printer is available OctoApp will move to the Prepare workspace. Here you can get ready for your next print!

    This is awesome! I can monitor prints right from my phone and control my Elegoo Neptune 4 remotely. The interface is also top not, it’s easy to understand everything you’re looking at and just looks nice. Quick edit: I just realized after I wrote this review that it also installed on my Galaxy watch ultra. I don’t even have to pull my phone out to check on prints. Cool!!

    Small request: Please provide proper changelog on app updates. 😉 I’d love to know what is new/changed and too many devs have taken to the lazy “we’re always fixing things” changelog (or none at all) whilst pushing 10 useless updates a week. A little transparency (without having to scour a git) would be awesome. Beyond that, the description is spot on! This is definitely the best Android app for OctoPrint.

    Great app for octoprint, simple with nice ui. Only one thing I notice… When I access my printer from outside my network cannot connect with camera. It is trying to connect with the internal ip even I have setup the connection with my remote Dns one . Everything else is working fine.

    Awesome app with excellent support! This app is great for tracking prints. It’s straightforward, looks great, and works reliably. I had to contact Christian, the developer, with a question, and he responded quickly with the exact information I needed. It’s the best app I’ve used for this purpose. I recommend supporting the paid tiers if you can.

    Love the app. I don’t care for cancel object. I like the “gcode avoid rectangle” I can put down. But I can’t in the app. It let’s me go to the web from this app. But you can’t make a box on the web without a mouse. At least on the phone. If anyone knows what I’m talking about lol. Both. Exclude and cancel. And with the last update. The app says error when I Try and preheat.

    Camera not working, other than that looks good feels simple, the steps indicator is unnecessary it could be done better. One thing I really like is the sticky notification of printing progress

    The customization is where this app really shines. I use it on an old tablet attached to the front of my printer, and the quick print is exactly what I needed for the majority of my jobs. The file interface is well done for those other times. I reported a small bug, and the author responded in less than 12 hours. An option for bigger buttons on quick print would be welcome, but that’s really just because of my use case.

    Fantastic app, looks great, and is really handy for keeping an eye on my prints. My apologies QR works fine, I’m using dark theme on my octoprint web UI which breaks QR codes, switch back to light theme to scan until the theme maker puts the QR on a white background (Themeify nighttime in octoprint)

    Great app and great design. Havent had any issues with it at all yet. Supporter price i find is a bit high so i haven’t done that yet. I feel the developer would get more support with a lower 1 time fee. But luckily most the needed features are in free version.
