I was looking for a app to help lower my screens brightness lower than what my phone’s brightness scale would go and this app definitely gets my screen brightness as low as I need it plus some and I love how this app don’t get super dark after you submit a percentage like this other app I tried once I hit start screen dimmer it was too dark to see anything on my phone and I had no idea how to get it so I could see my screen thanks night screen I really love being able to play my games without bothering anyone around me at night

Pull down tile does not work
This app is pretty good for it works. At night i would turn the brightness down to bottom and it hurts my eyes still . it helps a lot . it works perfectly on my redmi phones(yes I use more than one). but there’s a problem, when I play delta force, it has a place where we have to log in with third party apps but for some reason using this app , it wouldn’t automatically log me in and I can’t click anything. pls fix this and I will give five stars. (and fix this)
Excellent app! It does exactly what it says. I recommend it if you are a night owl who needs to protect your vision during the dark hours use.
It overlays the screen with the color gray instead of black which makes the color black looks lighter and faded, could be bette .
I really like how it dims, and how I can control the settings from the drop-down. However, this app doesn’t work over my lock screen or the drop-down. So I have an extra dim screen until I lock my phone. Then I get blasted with standard brightness again. Please fix this asap. It worked before, I don’t know how y’all messed this up.
Good app until it just stops working properly – the screen just lit up very suddenly.
Solid app, though it does make the screen appear more dull and kinda ashy when having it set at about 50%. As well as heating up the phone screen after having the app run in the background for two mins, but that’s likely due to just my phone being old.
Works pretty decently for what I want without glitching when I run other screen filtering apps at the same time. The ads aren’t too invasive, though ccasionally you get a big pop-up. For a free app, though, this is the screen dimmer I’ve settled on for the moment
I appreciate the break from the overtly bright backlight. I only wish I could change the tone such as warm or cool light.
I’m revising my review. After using Night Screen for a while, I admire its simplicity and dependability. If the pay version were a bit less, I’d get it, as it’s be convenient not to have to set its brightness level each time. Unfortunately, $15 is like $25 to us here in Canada—and my wife has threatened to divorce me if I spend any more on computer stuff. (But it’s a phone, not a computer, right? Nope, I tried that.) Cheers 👋😏 PS: How about, like, $5? You could get thousands more buyers. 😉
App works, If it’s show brightness slider in notification
I paid for the ad-free forever option. Was worth it because of how helpful it is and how much I use it. The wife can sleep well because the light is manageable for her and my eyes no longer hurt at night. Exactly as advertised. No glitches like other ones I’ve tried.
Its really useful app and easy to use. And its free. The adds doesn’t really effect my experience using this app.
There’s a small ad that shows at the bottom of your screen when you adjust the brightness but it’s very ignorable and it works well. My only issue is when I open my phone’s menu the dim doesn’t apply. But regardless, I’d still recommend it to a friend!
This app is absolutely perfect! I don’t normally give out 5 star reviews, but this one deserves it. It’s super easy to work with, and it only takes a few seconds to allow it permissions. I wish I had found this app sooner. It’s super dark, perfect for using phone at night or right when you wake up so you don’t have light blaring in your eyes. There’s no aggravating adds, or glitches and it runs super smoothly. Highly recommend.

Works fine, controls the brightness on my Android head unit. The only thing I would say is it would be nice to make the premium either a separate app or make it so it can be purchased via a Internet page on another device. I want to purchase premium to schedule brightness, but for some reason I’m struggling to get past the payment screen. Happy to add more stars if premium is more accessible. It’s a Chinese car head unit that os on android 13
Simple interface, has option of dimming with/without blue light filter, LOVE the pause feature, easy to use, and ads aren’t intrusive! EDIT: docking a star. Since I’ve updated to Android 8.0, it doesn’t work on some system screens like the status bar, some settings pages, the notifications drawer.
