I was looking for a app to help lower my screens brightness lower than what my phone’s brightness scale would go and this app definitely gets my screen brightness as low as I need it plus some and I love how this app don’t get super dark after you submit a percentage like this other app I tried once I hit start screen dimmer it was too dark to see anything on my phone and I had no idea how to get it so I could see my screen thanks night screen I really love being able to play my games without bothering anyone around me at night

it’s really good. I liked it.
I miss being able to use Night Screen. (This issue appeared *before* the Ukranian/Russia conflict. I wish all citizens safety and security.) Night Screen *used to be the* perfect solution for my sensitive eyes at night, but with the latest android updates, the app disables touching the entire screen aside from my drop-down menu. The app was wonderful, but now it’s essentially non-functional.
Honestly WAS the best dimmer. Used it constantly at night until recently once you open the app to darken it won’t let you interact with anything else anymore. This is the DARKEST dimmer yet. Quick access to the control panel. So simple and good until the recent update to Android must’ve effed it up. Please fix it! I need this!
So glad the previous bug has been fixed. Now I love it again! I read on my phone at night with this on and a black background, and have no problems falling back to sleep. Would be 5 stars if the entire screen dimmed, including the “buttons” at the bottom and notification symbols at the top.

Not working perfectly all the time. At times, when switching apps, the settings will come off causing the screen to flash bright light in your face for an instant. Not sure what hurts more my eyes: somewhat bright but constant light or those irregular strong flashes?

May be strange to praise a dimmer app but it’s really the best one. It’s simplistic with a brightness bar that you can turn up and down without stopping what you’re doing, has a pause and off button in the pull down tab. It brightens back up when you swipe tab down so if you forgot to turn it off and go outside, you won’t be stuck trying to find the app to turn it off. This thing is simply the best and no phone should go without. Literally, some phone company should pick this up as preinstalls
Best night app available. Love that its just a Bar doesn’t doesn’t fill the screen and that u can shut it when u swipe down the menu. Much better than others I’ve tried. Edit: my screen stops working when I use it now. A shame.
Best app I’ve found so far. Not a bunch of ads, just straight forward, dims your screen in the evening when you need it most. Super easy to access. Also doesn’t request a ton of permissions on your phone. Many others were so overly complicated that they didn’t work with my phone. So if you want an easy, no extra bs, screen dimmer, than use this app!

App allows you to decrease screen brightness to a continuous range of levels, is displayed over other apps or the home, making it as easy as tapping off the slider to hide the app. Only downside, which I assume is unavoidable, is the navigation and notifications bars, as well as the notification section and a few others are lit as normal, which can be distracting, increase eye strain, and reduce night vision. Also, it seems such a simple app that it shouldn’t have ads, or require you to rate it.
would be nice if the widget button was even close to being aligned to center…

on my android car the moment I open the app and slide darker, the screen turns black and I can’t control it anymore. I have to restart my screen
This app makes it very easy and fast to adjust the brightness. Although I had searched for another app which I used on an older device, I am glad I found this one. Unlike some other apps, the adjustment bar goes away when you are finished changing the brightness level, so screenshots taken while the app is in use don’t have the bar written over the photo.
I’ve been using this app for almost a year now and it’s very useful. I do have one problem though, my screen won’t sleep. I made sure to check if I turned the “keep the screen on” feature off and it is. I’m using a Samsung S9 plus, please fix this thank you.
A good app that can be better. Cannot dim the notification panel and keyboard. Add color filters like reading, movie watching or browsing or playing games. Crashes on MI devices despite battery optimization options disabled and lock in background enabled. I hope you will improve the app for 5 stars.
