The app now includes a dark mode and a list of recent seismic alerts. The app offers various informative sections, including recent earthquakes and relevant seismic event reports for the Seismic Alert System of Mexico (SASMEX). The app also includes the NOAA radio for Mexico City, which transmits coded messages about weather emergencies, natural disasters, or system tests. The Seismic Alert for CDMX is delivered to your device via a push channel and requires an in-app purchase. The app is ready for Android 9 and includes a new permission system for notifications on Android 13. The app is not related to the National Seismological Service, Cires A.C., or the Travelvernment of Mexico City, and push notifications are not guaranteed due to network congestion or poor connectivity.
