Mobile Trans did exactly what it said it would and my android WhatsApp messages are now all on my new IPhone. I used the charging lead that came with my iPhone as the transfer cable. It took 3 days as I had to keep on switching around which of the phones was logged into my WhatsApp account, and WhatsApp only allowed 1 switch per day. I did not transfer the other data as the iPhone had managed do do everything except whatsapp by itself. A lot of work has gone into this app and I don’t mind paying

    Its not free as it claims. Nothing is free in this app. Afted droped connection it claims to continue but it restarts from begining. 2h estimation time turned in to almost a day. Couple tries to establish connection. Calendar info did not get copied.

    Update: refund was given. Do not purchase this app under any circumstances! I used it once and it automatically renewed for $30 but the company would not issue a refund even 5 minutes after the payment processed. This is terrible customer service and way too expensive for this app.

    Have to pay for the service. I chose what contacts to transfer, all the contacts transferred anyways shortly after.

    It works but if you uninstall and reinstall the app, you end up wasting another slot of the 5 allowed. I’ll have to speak to customer service now to reset my bound devices.

    Did not transfer my apps. 😟 However, I appreciate very much their response. Since I’ve already restored my apps one by one, I won’t pursue this further but may try this app again next time I switch phones.

    I was initially skeptical about paying the money in advance before doing any trial. But I was able to get my whatsapp transferred without any issues. The only trouble i had was with the app keep asking for more free space on the phone. Initially it asked me to free up 2.5 Gb, i cleared around 3 gb and the app progressed to next step and asked for another 3gb and kept increasing the demand. I finally tried out the desktop tool and got it done without issues.

    I couldn’t get the wifi to stay connected when using the QR. Then I tried the wifi option and wasn’t sure what to choose, nor did I recognize that the 2nd set of numbers was supposed to be my password. Took me days of trying before I figured the right sequence. Would’ve been soooo much easier if there had been some direction!

    It was easy to transfer my whatsapp data to my iphone but i don get why it must be a yearly subscription and not a one time thingy n is a bit pricey.Btw may i know how to unsubscribe the app? I do not want to be charged yearly. Thanks

    Edit: Looks to be an issue on whatsapp/network provider side rather than this app. Had to use my partners number to receive the 2fa code Whatsapp transfer doesn’t work. Payed the monthly subscription, backup completed fine but every time I request the sms or phone call it says that there was an error requesting the code and then locks me out for hours. So now I’ve spent almost £20 and doesn’t look like I’m going to be able to use the service that I payed for anyways

    This worked really well. The only problem I had was, I was forced to pay for a subscription to transfer the WhatsApp data when I only wanted the phone calls data transfered.
