The UNRWA Electronic Maternal Child Healthcare Handbook is an app designed for Palestinian refugee mothers attending UNRWA health centers. It was developed in collaboration with JICA to provide access to electronic health records, medical advice, and health education. The app contains all the information found in the paper version of the Mother and Child Health Handbook, and its content is regularly updated. The app is available in Arabic, connects to UNRWA's e-health system, and can be used offline. Features include push notifications for apmarkerments and other health-related information, integration with AdMob for non-commercial awareness messages, and secure storage of data on UNRWA servers. The app does not provide medical advice and is meant to be used in conjunction with pro medical care.
