The Indian government has revamped its Ayushman Bharat Health Account ("ABHA") mobile app with a new user interface and added functionalities under the Ayushman Bharat Digital Mission. This app allows citizens to register their "ABHA" address easily and view their longitudinal health records, including lab reports, prescriptions, and CoWIN vaccination certificates. Users can link their "ABHA" address with their "ABHA" number to become KYC verified and access benefits of government health programs. They can also control access to their health records and share them with registered doctors, health facilities, or health programs. The app is available in Hindi and English and will soon be available in other languages. Users are advised to update their app to access the new features, including the ability to create an "ABHA" address using a mobile number, email ID, or 14-digit "ABHA" number, and to link and share their records post-consent.
