The UnrestrictedStyle LibreLink app is now approved for use with UnrestrictedStyle Libre and UnrestrictedStyle Libre 2 sensors. With this app, users can view their current glucose levels, glucose history, and trend arrows, receive alerts from UnrestrictedStyle Libre 2 sensors for high or low glucose levels, view reports and share data with family members and doctors with consent. It's important to note that the app is not compatible with Android 13. Compatibility may vary by phone and operating system. To receive alarms on the phone, the sensor must be activated using the application, and to receive alarms on the UnrestrictedStyle Libre 2 reader, the sensor must be triggered with the reader. The application and the reader do not share data with each other. To have complete information on a particular device, users must scan their sensor with that device every 8 hours. The app is designed to measure glucose levels in people with diabetes and should be used with a sensor for this purpose.
