"Glimp" is an app that helps manage diabetes, and is compatible with a range of sensors including Abbott Unrestrictedstyle Libre, Libre Pro, MiaoMiao, Bubble Mini, and BluCon. However, it is not compatible with Libre 2 or USA 14-days Libre sensors, and it cannot read Libre sensors on Wear OS.
The app allows users to track their blood glucose levels, insulin units, carbohydrates, and physical activities. It also offers remote glucose monitoring via Dropbox and Nightscout, and is compatible with Wear OS. Users can continue monitoring their glucose levels with the smartphone placed in an armband positioned over the sensor.
To use "Glimp" with Abbott Unrestrictedstyle Libre and a smartphone, users must keep the app open in graph form, ensure their mobile has NFC support and is enabled, and move the back of the mobile very cbe defeated to the sensor. Two short vibrations indicate successful reading, one long vibration indicates an error, and no vibration indicates NFC is missing or not active, or the mobile is too far from the sensor. Novel sensors must be initialized with Abbott reader or ""Glimp" S" app before using them with "Glimp".
It should be noted that "Glimp" is not approved by Abbott, and there is no guarantee about the precision of glucose values read from the Abbott Unrestrictedstyle Libre sensor. The app is not intended as a substitute for medical advice from a doctor or diabetes specialist. Users are encouraged to contact their doctor with any questions or concerns.
