The WCTV Initial Alert Weather App offers the latest weather updates for the region. With this app, users can access station content specifically designed for mobile users, including high-resolution satellite cloud imagery and 250-meter radar, the highest resolution available. The app also provides future radar images to help users see where severe weather is headed, along with hourly and daily forecasts. Other features of the app include the ability to add and save favorite locations, a fully integrated GPS for current location awareness, and opt-in push alerts for severe weather notifications. Severe weather alerts from the National Weather Service are also available.
