WCAX is excited to introduce its new Android weather app, which offers a variety of features tailored specifically for mobile users. With the app, users can access station content, including 250-meter radar with the highest available resolution, future radar to track severe weather, high-resolution satellite cloud imagery, current weather updated frequently, and daily and hourly forecasts updated hourly using computer models. Additionally, the app allows users to save and access their favorite locations and includes a fully integrated GPS for current location awareness. Severe weather alerts from the National Weather Service are also available, as well as opt-in push alerts to keep users safe during severe weather.
