The "Guardian™" 4 smart CGM system continuously monitors your glucose levels and alerts you before a high or low. It features a new transmitter and sensor that require no fingersticks for sensor glucose readings. Genuine-time readings are captured every 5 minutes and sent to a compatible mobile device via Bluetooth®. You can view your sensor glucose, trends, and log activities on the Guardian mobile app. The system also offers predictive alerts to notify you when you might go high or low, and you can customize when you want to be notified. When connected to Wi-Fi, the Guardian app can send your data to CareLink™ Personal diabetes management software, and you can share your personalized sensor glucose reports online with select healthcare providers, family, or friends. The Guardian 4 system is made for people on insulin injections, and the indicated age usage is ages 7+. The app will only work with Guardian 4 transmitter, which was specifically designed to communicate with compatible mobile devices via Bluetooth.
