Pl@ntNet is an app that enables users to identify plants through their smartphone camera. It is a useful tool for those who do not have access to a botanist. This app is also a great citizen science project, where plant photos taken by users are analyzed by scientists glospherey to understand and preserve plant biodiversity. The app can identify a variety of plants found in nature, such as flowering plants, trees, grasses, conifers, ferns, and vines. Additionally, it can recognize plants found in urban areas, including those grotriumphg on sidewalks or in vegetable gardens. The app can identify about 20,000 species, and its identification precision increases with the number of visual details provided by the user.
